Apple is one of the largest tech companies in the world and has a huge number of employees. If you are also interested in a job at Apple, you should be prepared for these five questions in the interview.

At the end of the 2023 financial year, which at Apple was in September, the iPhone company had around 161,000 employees worldwide. This is the second-highest figure in the history of the US company – only the previous year had more, at around 164,000. Apple has 20,000 employees in Europe alone, and around 2,500 in Germany.

But to get a job at the global corporation, you should prepare yourself well. Here are five questions that might help you in the interview.

Apple: What you should be prepared for in a job interview

One question should come as no surprise to many. As with many other job interviews, Apple also wants to test whether you have familiarized yourself with the company’s products.

The company therefore wants to know what your favorite product or device is. Even if this question may seem simple at first glance, you should still prepare well for it.

You can certainly score points if you list all the Apple products you have used so far. However, you should go into more detail about your favorite and have its main advantages ready. Perhaps you can even make a connection to your own technical skills.

Apple also tests soft skills

But it’s not just pure knowledge of the world of Apple that is important in a job interview, as the online course provider Simplilearn describes. Soft skills are also important to the company.

For example, you may be asked to describe a situation in which you resolved a disagreement with a superior. This question is about highlighting skills such as working in a team, resolving conflicts and communication in general.

The next questions are aimed at your technical skills. Here, too, you should be well prepared for Apple’s technology.

For example, one task could be to explain the difference between Cocoa and Cocoa Touch. Here you can shine with your knowledge of iOS and OS X.

For iOS, however, there are more questions waiting for you if you are invited to an interview at Apple. For example, you might be asked to explain the various ways of creating parallelism in iOS. You should also be familiar with the JSON data format supported by iOS and its advantages.
